Anyone expecting a classy pizzeria is wrong here. But if you're looking for good pizzas to take away, you've come to the right place. They are quick to make and are okay in size and taste for € 5. The location right in the pedestrian zone is ideal for this
It has mini, fresh and affordable pizza.. liked it
We were in this pizzeria for the first time yesterday before the 2 light lockdown. We wanted to eat another delicious pizza in the old town before everything closes again for four weeks. Unfortunately we ended up in this pizzeria. We ordered a Cola Zero and quickly realized that it wasn't the originals. It tasted more like the discounter variant. Well, we're not that picky and didn't say anything. We ordered Funghi Pizza with Broccoli. When it arrived, it quickly became clear that they were canned champions and that the broccoli had to be frozen broccoli. Very bad taste. There was no oregano on the pizza and nothing was flavored. Well when we wanted to pay then nobody came to our table so we went in because it was very cold. We told our waiter (who was nice) that we wanted to pay and he referred us to the man with the wallet. There was only one person who held the money for a whole restaurant. So we waited in a corner (for a while) until the Lord had time. He held out the receipt and I said what I have to pay. Immediately he sounded annoyed and said yes then I have to get a pen. (because we paid separately) From then on he treated us very rude. I said what I had and gave him 50 € note and even told him an amount with a tip. He then said well, young lady, I have no change at all In a very unfriendly tone (which is probably not my problem) then I said I have something small and he didn't even thank you. Despite this unfriendly manner, we all wanted to tip but he did not accept it, did NOT thank you and did not wish you a nice evening, outrageously simple. He should be happy that we still wanted to support his restaurant. No recommendation bad food bad service. You can get much better pizzas in the old town with much nicer staff !!!!!
Very nice chef-waiter, delicious food and good house wine at fair prices!
Super fast service and super nice 😃😊
I've been eating pizza there for 40 years. As a student to take away for 3 DMark. Still delicious today and a great ambience inside.
Undecided 🤷♂️ the pizza was good so was the ministrone. Location smelled weird and to some type nasty. Also the staffing „hanging out“ was awkward and to some point I was not sure if people were working there, just helping out because they were friend of someone ... also I think I a restaurant especially during corona times, people should watch out for not only sticking to hygiene standards but also apply them for their own well being, meaning dress with clean clothing, clean hands etc. I missed that in that location. The only reason i am giving 2* is because the food was ok.
We ordered different items Pizza and Pasta something like that but test was awesome. And service provide them super. if you go Düsseldorf then must eat here
I went to the Italian restaurant with my family. First we had bruscetta and a Mediterranean starter as a starter. After that we ordered different things, including pizza and pasta. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly
Pizza To-Go for 5 euros with three toppings ... tastes good!
I have been eating pizza there for 30 years, I still know the times when 4 marks were taken for the pizza to go with 3 toppings unbeatable in terms of price and taste
Very tasty Italian food for a cheap price. The owner is really nice and the place is so that in the evening the sun still falls on the seats outside
I was doing corona measures properly. It was very delicious but very cheap. I was able to adjust the spiciness and garlic myself.
For me, this is the best mini-pizza in Düsseldorf's old town. Well topped with up to 3 ingredients for 5 euros - and as big as most frozen pizzas - it comes fresh from the large wood oven.
Food came for 1/4 persons after 10 minutes, the second one after another 20 minutes and we are still waiting for the 3rd and last one to come after 30 minutes. If you want to go for dinner all together: Not recommendable.
The restaurant is located in the middle of the old town and whoever sits outside should know that there is a lot going on at the weekend. The dough of the pizza was certainly good but the spinach on it was not edible. Mixed fish plate was ok. Service ok too. It's just a small restaurant (prices) and if you want to get away with it cheaply, you should rather order the mini pizza to go and buy your drinks at the kiosk.
Mega yummy !! In addition, an unbelievably great ambience herz and very warm staff. Thanks for the cappuccino on the house!
Wonderful service! Good pizza and impeccable service. Thank you, I will come back more often :)
Friendly staff and big outdoor seating. It’s a good place to sit down in Altstadt and enjoy the pizza. I like their pizza crust :) will come back again for a quick bite!
Very good pizza, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese, nicely baked and crust thin and tasty! Seating cleaned always after use, everybody wears masks, service great.
Not just problems of understanding. This is what a pizza looks like when the pizza maker does not feel like working. The worst pizza at the discounter is much tastier than this.
Super delicious food and practically no waiting time! Portion was very good. On a hot summer day, you almost feel like you're in Italy. The location is rather quiet for the old town. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Worst tuna pizza I've ever eaten in my life, the Aldi pizza is much better because of the stone oven because the knife gave in because the dough wasn't through
Pizza was just superb.. fresh and so flavorful. Definitely will visit again..
The most amazing Italian in the old city of Dusseldorf. If you are searching for a chill and friendly atmosphere, great food within a lot of questionable places in the city this is your place.
Could be way better
A part of the Italy in the middle of the Dusseldorf
Nice!
Ok good food and nice People...
Pizza was a little bit black on the sides, staff is not very friendly.
One of the worst pizzas I've eaten has nothing to do with a real Italian pizzeria. Even less good than frozen supermarket pizza.
Please save your money bad service bad food we had ordered Napoli pizza and minestrone soup The vegetables on the menistrone soup was frozen vegetables and they didn't cooked well The pizza was like you eat salt and the most important is that the waiter was really roud and didn't notice our requests and when we ask for the check he ask for tip but didn't ask it really he was demanding to get it When we refused he was angry and wasn't behave as service man soppused to be
Very nice and quiet place
Terrible experience. The waiter was not friendly and did not accept cards. Ended up getting very ugly and personal until we payed in cash. Would not recommend if you’re not in the mood for an argument.
Not necessarily the friendliest people and they got my order wrong, but it's one of the rare places with real woodfired pizza and it tastes very good!!!
Nice place! The atmosphere is very good but the service can be a little slow especially when you sit outside. The food isn't bad but it isn't amazing either. I personally felt it was too expensive. £12 for shrimp pasta?
Was surprisingly really good taste! Didn't expect that near boltker Str.
Very good pizza, quiet atmosphere despite old town ... you should visit if you are in Dusseldorf ... we have discovered them by accident, it has been around for 50 years, so we have tested them and for good
Very good pizza and a little quieter in the street ...
Good service
Ok italian
Best Altstadt pizza!
Very nice "pizzeria", Italian restaurant with everything you need to spend a nice evening! Price - performance is absolutely right for the old town! Staff attentive and friendly.
Pizza was delicious and made just in time :) Works even in little hours.
This place is the worst restaurant i have ever been. The wine tasted like paint, im not difficult to satisfy but it was definitely not drinkable. The staff was totally disrespectful and didn’t gave us our change back. We asked 3 times, and stand in front of the owner who acted like it was not important. He finally threw the change to us in a very disrespectful way This is a mafia restaurant, they don’t care about customers and just want to get money in. This should definitely be closed so NEVER dare to go there.
Worst Pizza experience ever
Food and prices are correct. My girlfriend’s dish barely looked like lasagna: Too much cheese, we did not find the meat. My pizza was quite OK. But service was terrible. Waiter was almost unpolite at the time of paying (maybe because we did not tip him?🧐)
Poor food and the staff was horrible
The stuff is not polite and the burn both of the pizza we order
Good food
